It is the largest and busiest airport in the state of Nebraska. It is located 5 kilometers away from Omaha. It handles more than 120 flights per day.



About the name: Omaha Airport was named Eugene C. Eppley, the Eppley Hotel magnate of Omaha, who fund the airport to convert it into a jetport which became the airport that is nowadays.

About Omaha

Omaha is the largest city in the state of Nebraska, with a total population of 408,958 inhabitants. The city is located in Midwest of the United States, nearby the Missouri River. Omaha is also known as the “Gateway to the West” due to its location on the West part of the United States.
